Overview

KAI Texas, LC (KAI) is a HUB certified Texas Corporation. Founded out of state in 1980, KAI, in partnership with local firms, designed projects for clients across Texas starting in 1992. In 1999, Michael E. Kennedy established KAI Texas's headquarters in Dallas. In 2005, Darren L. James, AIA was named President and COO. KAI Texas expanded operations opening an office in Fort Worth and has become one of the most respected design and build firms in the state of Texas with a diverse portfolio and in-house multi-discipline professionals providing architecture, engineering and program/construction management services.
